At Seymour Kitchens, we take pride in our commitment to sustainability, ensuring that our beautiful kitchen solutions are not only aesthetically pleasing but also eco-conscious. Our sustainability practices are deeply rooted in every aspect of our design and production process, reflecting our dedication to a greener, more responsible future.
We prioritise the use of sustainably sourced solid timber. Whether it’s the drawer boxes, worktops, or cabinet doors, we only purchase timber from responsible sources which operate under two sets of certification: Forest Stewardship Council ® and the Programme of Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes.
Our kitchen worksurfaces are crafted from long-lasting materials such as quartz composites and granites. These materials are built to stand the test of time, lasting for many years without the need for replacement. We also offer quartz composites produced in a sustainable manner or made from recycled materials.
By investing in our high-quality furniture, you can enjoy a kitchen that is built to last. Our cabinetry is designed to endure for upwards of 25 years. Moreover, our wooden cabinets can be repainted and upgraded, reducing the need for completely replacing your kitchen and minimising unnecessary waste if you hope for a change at some point.
We manufacture all our kitchen furniture in-house in our workshop near Guildford and source materials from the United Kingdom whenever possible. It is quite unique that our customers can have their kitchens manufactured in the same town they live in.
For us, sustainability isn’t just a buzzword; it’s a core principle that drives our decisions and actions. We believe in creating kitchens that are both beautiful and environmentally responsible.
